Professional nursing staff
Villa Canova Florence is more than just a residence for the elderly; it's a haven where our guests are the focal point of every interaction. Our dedicated and skilled staff operates with discretion and sensitivity, guaranteeing a secure and delightful stay. The collaborative effort of our team fosters a stimulating and tranquil atmosphere, encouraging socialization and group activities among the elderly residents. We strive to make our guests feel secure, cherished, and enveloped in top-notch care and attention.
Professional nurses
The nursing team at our RSA consists of skilled healthcare professionals who play a vital role in the care of elderly individuals and those with complex healthcare needs. Beyond clinical responsibilities like therapy administration and managing venous access, our nurses are distinguished by their commitment to a holistic approach to health. They consider not only physical aspects but also attend to the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of our guests. Creating a caring and supportive environment, our nurses contribute significantly to the overall well-being of both residents and their families, enhancing the long-term care experience.
Medical assistance
Residents at our facility have the freedom to choose their general practitioners, following the protocol outlined in the regulation of access to residential facilities (dgr 364 of May 2006). The chosen general practitioner is responsible for regular health check-ups, instructing our nursing staff on therapies, and maintaining the guest's clinical diary, documenting clinical considerations, therapies, and pharmaceutical prescriptions. Additionally, the general practitioner facilitates requests for specialist visits and advice.
Religious Assistance
Spiritual and religious care is an integral part of our commitment to the well-being of elderly or disabled residents. Tailored to diverse needs, this care emphasizes access to meaningful religious practices and spiritual resources for each individual.
